Margaret River Shire goes GE free!

Last week Margaret River Shire Council unanimously passed a motion saying that it did not support the use of genetically engineered (GE) crops in the shire.

This means that, so far, a total of six of the eight shires in Western Australian Agriculture Minister Terry Redman’s electorate have passed anti-GE motions.
